"Where did you put the pizza?" I queried.

"I put it in the fridge!" Sid replied.

Sid let go of me and I stood up off the couch and then I went to the fridge to grab a slice of pizza.

"Casey! I know of a place that's actually pretty nice outdoor location at this time of year and tends to not be crowded. It's also just a short walk away!" Sid said ecstatically.

"Ooo! I like the outdoors! I'm in!" I replied.

Sid walked up to the couch I had sat at and pulled out a sweater that matched the one she was wearing.

"I was going to give this to you on Christmas but I think you should wear it while we head out!" Sid said while handing me the sweater.

I grabbed the sweater with my left hand and with my right placed the pizza slice I had on the pizza box in the fridge. I slipped the sweater over my hoodie and oh my god that is cozy!

Sid opened the door to her house and stepped out to wintery night. I followed suit while I wrapped one of my arms around Sid.

"This hoodie feels cozy! Thank you Sid!" I exclaimed.

"No problem buddy." Sid replied ecstatically.

A few minutes later we arrived to a small park in the woods with a picnic table and several benches. There was also a path that leads to a campsite according to a faded sign by the picnic table. Looking up to the sky we could see the black night sky with the bright stars and the moon. I can definitely see The Big Dipper right there!

I sat down on the bench closest to the campsite path and Sid sat right beside me. We then started cuddling each other.

"Sid. I'm glad that you are part of my life. I don't know what I'd do without you. You're the only person I know who actually cares about me. Even when my parents treat me awfully, you make me feel better." I said.

Sid patted me on the back and replied, "I'm glad to have you too, Casey. In fact every thing you said right there I feel the same for you. I don't know if I ever told you this but my mum is as bad as you parents. Ever since my dad passed away six years ago, she became a very loud-mouthed ass with a insatiable thirst to smack me with a mixer spoon until you could say I looked like I could be one of the people on Cannibal Corpse's Chaos Horrific album cover"

"Oh damn, I'm sorry for you." I said.

"It's alright, I left that hag the day I turned 18." Sid replied.

I looked to my right and saw what looked like a silhouette of a man. A man that seemed to be wearing robes. Is this the same dude from earlier?

"Sid, I don't think we're alone." I whispered.

Sid looked to the same spot I was looking and stood up.

"Hey, are you stalking us?" she barked, "If you are you can go piss off!"

The man in the robes didn't move.

"I'm warning you. I am armed and I'm not afraid to defend myself and my girlfriend!" Sid continued.

The man still didn't move.

Sid pulled out a handgun from her jeans and yelled "Last chance before I shoot!"

Still nothing.

She clicked the trigger and suddenly another robed man jumped out from the dark and tackled Sid.

"Get off her!" I screamed.

The robed man that jumped out at Sid started tugging at the handgun in Sid's hand.

"Let go of me you creep!" Sid yelled.

While the man tugged at the gun it got set off while a loud bang.

A second later I felt a grazing pain in my shoulder which made me fall to the ground. I looked to my right shoulder which was now bleeding badly. I panted heavily.

"Get away from her!" I screamed in pain.

The pain was making me feel weak and my vision started blacking out.

All I could hear was Sid screaming at the man before everything went dark.
